Who we are

What we collect
- What you give us: name, email, phone and the text of your message, when you use the contact form or write to us directly.
- Browsing data: pages viewed, date and time, device and browser type, approximate region. Collected anonymously and only if you accepted statistics cookies.
- Server logs: IP address and requests to the server, for security and troubleshooting.
Why we process it and on what legal basis
- To answer your request and send you a quote: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- For traffic statistics: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
- For website security and to prevent abuse: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- For tax and accounting obligations, once we work together: compliance with a legal obligation.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages are kept for up to 24 months after the last exchange and then deleted. Contract and invoicing data are kept for as long as tax law requires. Server logs are kept for up to 12 months.
Who else has access
We do not sell or trade personal data. Access is limited to the partners needed to run the service, acting as processors:
- Our hosting provider, where the website and our mailboxes live.
- Google Ireland Ltd. for statistics (Google Analytics), only with your consent.
- Our email provider, for sending and receiving your messages.
Some of the above may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies
We use three categories of cookies:
- Necessary: they keep your language choice, the security of the form and your own cookie choice. They cannot be switched off.
- Statistics: they measure anonymously how many people visit and which pages they read.
- Marketing: used only when an advertising campaign is running and you have accepted them.
You can change your choice at any time: . You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. Send your request to info@thraceweb.gr and we will answer within one month at the latest.
If you believe your data is being handled unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (1-3 Kifissias Ave., 115 23 Athens, www.dpa.gr).
Security
The website runs exclusively over an encrypted connection (SSL). We keep daily backups and limit access to the data to the people who need it for their work.
